Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is assembled in different ways, and the craft flow used in the production process is different. Therefore, FASTPCBA introduces the basic assembly method of SMA firstly. PCBA boards are assembled in one-sided surface assembly, double-sided surface assembly, single-sided mixing assembly, and double-sided mixing assembly.
1.Single-sided surface assembly refers to the usage of single-sided PCB circuit boards, and all use surface-assembled components, as shown in Figure 1.
2.Double-sided surface assembly refers to the usage of double-sided PCB, and all surfaces are assembled with surface components, as shown in Figure 2
3.Single-sided mixing refers to the usage of single-sided PCB, but the PCB has both surface-assembled components and through-hole dip components. Therefore, the components are distributed on both sides of the PCB, and the solder joints are distributed on one side of the PCB.
4.Double-sided mixing assembly refers to the usage of double-sided PCB, and the PCB has both surface-assembled components and through-hole components. More complicated double-sided mixing assembly is the surface assembly on both sides of the PCB with components, and through-hole components, this type is less used, so it is not listed.
The assembly method of common surface assembly components is basically one of the above four assembly methods.
